we were tasked to make a few mock up books to see what could be a good starting point to establishing what we can use as contents of our publications.
i made 5 but out of those there was only a couple that looked to be of any potential.
one was a form of constitina which would most likely be 8-10 pages because it would be one continous large image, and i believe it wouldnt be nessesary to stretch it out when i can use the other space effectively. for this one i would have liked to make the front and back pages much thicker or perhhaps a painted look or even made from thin wood. however im not sure that this would be possible or how to go about it. i believe that there are facilities that would allow me to make wood with designs into them but i will need to find out about that.
anyhow the book would be one long landscape of a fantasy like land with creatures and organic looking things. but within this i would have everyday people looking about or fighting the creatures. generally surviving. but these people would be obviously from our time.

the second potential could be a book that you can remove pages from if you wished, and used them as small individual images of characters or creatures, or both. but they would fit the ideas that i made in my essay.
so i could make them one of 2 ways:
- each page could have a fantasy character then on the same leaf but the back would be the same character but in modern time
- each page has a different figure but they are designed for our day and age ( could use real people) and havd some form of shadow/cast of their alter ego?
_
the other one that looked interesting enough to consider was a book that would look good using linoprint or gouache.
each page would be a figure where they have different statistics like strength, charisma, agility.
would be set out like a character design feature in a game, however im not sure if it shouls have the same person on each page, or them aging. or alternatively just have different races and characters on each page
